Training of Trainers
This training of trainers workshop is suitable for people who are fairly new to the responsibilities of conducting workplace training and assessment including those whose responsibilities include making plans for identifying training needs, developing training programs, conducting training and assessing competencies of staff.
The course covers three competencies. These competencies meet the PNG National Training Council’s requirements for registration as an Instructor. They are taken from the AQF TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification.
Candidates who successfully complete one or more of these units will be awarded credit towards TAE40110 Certificate IV Training and Assessment.
TAEDEL401A Plan, organise and deliver group-based learning
TAEDEL402A Plan, organise and facilitate learning in the workplace
TAEASS402A Assess competence
The course runs for 5 full days of very intensive workshop and requires participants to complete a workplace training project. This project is due four weeks after the training.
Assessment will be based on completion of documented workshop activities and the workplace training project. The workplace training project includes observation and assessment of the candidate delivering competency based training and assessment in the workplace.
