Is my on-line qualification recognised?

An online qualification is the same as the qualification you receive by enrolling in face-to-face classes at an IEA College of TAFE campus. The qualification testamur is awarded under the IEA College of TAFE registration with the PNG National Training Council.

The eLearning resource provides students with the same platform and content as used by Australian Training Providers.

All qualifications from the IEA College of TAFE are equivalent to Australian vocational qualifications and are recognised by Australian training providers through a process known as Recognition of Prior Learning.

James Cook University (Brisbane campus) and the IEA College of TAFE have reached an agreement for diploma graduates of the College to be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning with possible credit transfer and also be eligible for a A$16,800 bursary if they enrol in a James Cook University Brisbane degree.

What are the software and computer requirements?

You need to have Internet connection.

You need to have a laptop or desktop PC with access to the internet.

The eLearning platform is independent of enterprise software, but access to word processing and spreadsheet software is recommended.

Content can also be accessed on a smartphone or tablet - either Android or Apple.
